According to my analytics, people still visit my blog. So, hello fellow visitor. I apologize for not being as active. What have I been up to? Have I been slacking off, or working hard in other ventures? Here’s a quick recap of what I have been doing, or was planning to do.
New Site
Back when I had more free time, I was planning to change the appearence of this blog into a more project-friendly overhaul. This would be a hub for all of my old [PSP] projects, and would make it easier for fans to download these homebrew games.
In this link you can see a bit of what I was planning. Will I ever finish it? Well, if I get the time I probably will. For now, this old fouadtjuhmaster.eu/ will do. This new site and my YouTube channel would have the same kind of content.
Programming
So the past two years I’ve been studying hard to develop more knowledge about programming, mostly Java and C#. Learning different programming languages at UAS level is a fun challenge, and I plan on using it to my atvantage in the future.
Publishing software / mobile games
Modoka started out as a side-project to release some of our old Homebrew games on Windows and Mac.
This side-project turned into a much bigger thing. The aim is to turn it into a full recognizable publisher.
Currently, we are gathering the experience and learn from industry experts. We need to expand our partnerships in order to get our projects to thrive much more.
If you want to know more about this project, feel free to visit our homepage right now at http://modokastudios.com/
Homebrew Idol 5
You can put this one on the list of failed Dashhacks projects because there are tons of those. So for you guys who are not familiar with the name Homebrew Idol 5, it was planned to be a Homebrew game competition for PSP and PSVITA. If you haven’t read my previous article regarding Dashhacks, I advise you to read that one first. It basically explains why this idea failed, and why the whole of Dashhacks turned into a chaotic mess.
