Rebranding into FJM Homebrew announcement

There have been talks before about a rebranding of this blog. Today is the day to make the official announcement to get rid of the FouadtjuhMaster name on this blog. In the following post, we’ll discuss small changes…

The FouadtjuhMaster alias has been with me since 2009, back when I first created a YouTube channel to upload my old Windows Movie Maker videos. Since then, it has been a part in the PSP / PSVita scene from 2011 til 2015 (sometimes in a controversial manner… oops). Since then, the name “FouadtjuhMaster” hasn’t been very active in the scene. Here and there you’d see a blog post on Dashhacks or a nostalgic post on various forums.

So, why do I want to distance myself from the name? As I said, this name has been with me since 2009. Back when I was eleven years old. Eleven-year-old Fouad didn’t take into consideration that the name is beyond pronounceable to a global audience. Furthermore, with myself being more active in other endeavours, I am planning to merge the side-project hobby that is called fouadtjuhmaster.eu into my main occupation: Modoka Studios Entertainment. All servers, domain, cloud storage etc. will move under the Modoka umbrella.

After the rebranding, the blog will remain its own entity, and won’t get any influence from the parent company. Other than a different name, maybe a new UI, not much will change. The homebrew games that are available for downloads won’t go anywhere.
