Subreddit R/PSP sure loves their PSP, so let’s vote for the best one!

As a regular lurker on the PSP subreddit r/PSP it becomes very clear that users love sharing amazing pictures of their trusted handheld. As a regular lurker on the PSP subreddit r/PSP it becomes very clear that users love sharing amazing pictures of their trusted handheld. Being a PSP enthusiast myself (and proud owner of 3 different PSPs, no pictures sadly) I wanted to create this opportunity to vote for the best one. While people love to spam the subreddit with their ordinary PSP, there are some awesome customizable handhelds as well. Sometimes you might find confused individuals posting pictures of their PSVita, but those are a rare case… At least I admire their spirit!

I know a thing or two about PSP (Homebrew) competitions. My first entry into the PSP Homebrew scene was through the popular PSP Genesis Competition in 2011. After that, FJMHomebrew.com was one of the organisers of the PSP Idol 4 alongside Dashhacks and PSVitaGR. But all of those competitions do not compare to the sheer force of the “R/PSP BEST PICTURE OF YOUR PSP, BECAUSE WHY NOT 2020” competition.

I have collected all the Reddit posts from 2020 onwards (the list is still being expanded). This took me way more time than I like to admit… Let’s just say I’ve seen enough PSP pictures for the rest of the year. But you won’t stop any time soon posting them, will you? You’ve shared the PSPs you got from the thrift shop, an eBay auction or even found one in your basement! Who doesn’t want to see the broken down second-handed PSP you got for 50 bucks?

Enough passive-aggressiveness from me. Below you can find the different users and their PSPs. Vote (or don’t) for your favourite one. If I forgot your picture, feel free to e-mail me at fouad@Sony.com. I’ll be sure to read them. In all seriousness, I’m glad to see that people still appreciate their little handheld friend after almost 20 years. Thank you R/PSP!
